November 7th marked the official launch of FreedomeE, at London’s House of Lords, a unique venue in the Palace of Westminster intrinsically linked to English history for more than 1000 years. Surrounded by reputed press editors, renowned industry professionals, influencers, partner brands and members of our team, our founder, Francesca Giobbi, presented her unique vision of a more sustainable fashion industry. Under such political turmoil in the UK, it was definitely an outstanding showcase of unity and cohesion, to bring together the sustainable fashion lobby under the same roof.
An industry insider for the last 27 years, Francesca is an inspiring, passionate and active voice in the fight for responsible production and consumption in fashion – recognized as the second most polluting industry in the world. Aware that the industry is losing its values, its talent and most of all losing the battle for the planet, Francesca showcased how FreedomeE aims to unite all those who share its values, to positively disrupt the current fashion landscape.
